The entry procedure
Main documents that regulate joining of new members to NOTECH Association are NOTECH Association Charter and Regulations on membership in NOTECH Association; they describe main requirements to the Association members.
The procedure of becoming a member of NOTECH Association is based on the following: analysis of candidate’s specialization, scope of engineering services provided, construction management system. The evaluation procedure is mainly focused on the candidate’s ability to manage an investment and construction project.
The evaluation procedure is performed in order to confirm compliance of a candidate with the requirements before its joining to the Association.
A NOTECH member shall comply with the compulsory criteria and within first membership year shall bring its activities into compliance with the voluntary standard of technical customer’s activities and other regulatory and legal acts of the Association that regulate technical customer’s activities.
Procedure of admission to membership of NOTECH Association includes the following steps:
1. Submission of application form, survey and package of documents
In order to apply for NOTECH membership, a candidate shall fill in NOTECH Association membership application (follow NOTECH Association form), candidate’s survey (follow NOTECH Association form), and attach a package of documents to come through evaluation procedure and further admission to NOTECH Association membership. You can find full list of documents required for the application in section “Documents required to apply”.
If review of the NOTECH Association membership application is successful, a candidate is allowed to proceed with the next step – auditing of their activities and business processes as a technical customer for compliance with the requirements of becoming a member of NOTECH Association, including the requirements of the voluntary standard of technical customer activities developed by NOTECH Association.
2. Assigning an Association member in charge of candidate’s audit (evaluation)
Once a candidate is allowed to come through the audit of their activities and business processes as a technical customer for compliance with the requirements of becoming a member of NOTECH Association, an Association member in charge of candidate’s audit (evaluation) shall be assigned.
3. Conducting audit to check candidate’s compliance with the requirements of becoming an Association member
In the next step, a candidate shall actually come through the audit of their activities and business processes as a technical customer for compliance with the requirements of becoming a member of NOTECH Association.
Upon the results of candidate’s evaluation, an auditor shall prepare auditing report and conclusion.
4. Review of candidate’s application in the Association’s board meeting
If auditing result is positive, the candidate’s membership application is transferred for review to the NOTECH Association’s board meeting.
5. Decision of the Association’s Board on acceptance of a candidate to NOTECH Association
Candidate’s application to join NOTECH Association shall be reviewed in the nearest (since obtaining positive conclusion from the auditor) meeting of NOTECH Association Board.
Decision on candidate’s acceptance to NOTECH Association shall be made by majority vote in the meeting of NOTECH Association Board.
6. Payment of joining fee and membership fee by a candidate
Once NOTECH Association Board makes a positive decision regarding acceptance of a candidate to NOTECH Association, the candidate shall pay joining fee and membership fee.
A candidate shall be considered accepted to NOTECH Association after paying both – joining fee and membership fee.
7. Involving a new member to the Association’s activities
Membership in NOTECH Association is confirmed by issuing a relevant certificate of compliance, after that a new member of NOTECH Association can be involved into Association’s work.
