About the Association
National Association of Technical Customers and Other Engineering and Construction Management Organizations (NOTECH Association) is a non-profit institution that promotes interests of Russian technical customers and other parties involved into an investment and construction project (ICP) in charge of planning, organization, management and supervision of construction, including other engineering services within ICP lifecycle.
NOTECH Association was established in 2023 by leading Russian engineering companies with support of the Russian Ministry of Construction.
Strategic goals of the Association:
- pooling efforts of professional industrial community to create conditions that would promote development of the construction engineering market and technical customer;
- building up a productive dialogue, exchanging opinions and experience between market players and representatives of authorities in order to come up with joint solutions that would help in reaching common strategic goal – improvement of construction projects efficiency.
The Association’s areas of focus include:
- development, systematization and institutionalization of new Russian industry – construction management;
- systematization of the construction engineering market, increase of transparency, quality and efficiency of technical customer services;
- successful implementation of the Strategy for the development of construction industry, housing and utilities sector in the Russian Federation;
- competences development among members of an investment and construction project (including construction client (investor), project, construction and engineering organizations);
- increasing efficiency of ICP management by integrating a technical customer into all stages of ICP lifecycle and systematization of technical customer services by ICP implementation stages;
- combining best practices of construction management;
- extension of the market volume by building of trust among construction clients (investors);
- decrease of construction risks for the construction clients (investors);
- assistance in full-fledged cooperation and enhancing business connections with foreign partners for further exchange of experience and knowledge in the area of professional management and construction supervision;
- establishment of a competence center based on “one-stop” concept for development and gathering analytics data in order to define main problems and generate possible solutions;
- improvement of digitalization level in construction industry by involving the technical customer into the digitalization process through the executive vertical and within the whole ICP lifecycle;
- looking for a solution in terms of lacking engineering and engineering management human resources for the engineering companies, solving the problem of deficient human resources by systemizing the training engineering management manpower;
- improvement of educational programs in the area of construction management and supervision, expanding the number of professionals in the area of construction management.
